On May 18, AmCham South China's new Innovation & IP Cooperation Committee held its first meeting at the Sheraton Shenzhen Futian hotel. AmCham South China President Harley Seyadin opened the discussion with remarks on the guidance from U.S. Ambassador Jon Huntsman and Party Secretary Wang Yang that led to the formation of the committee, as well as about what Shenzhen -- and both U.S. and Chinese companies in the region -- stand to gain from such an effort.
